I like that the only thing everyone agrees is unnatural is the creature, when the actual horror is a town that thinks a shovel is the reasonable response to tenderness.
Hello Annie. I really enjoyed that. Favourite line: "decay drifted like tree pollen on the wind/
Scattered ash on droplets of dew." Great story, with a nice twist. I subbed. I hope it's not rude, or anything but I’ve written a poem about Kafka/A Hunger Artist. I'd really like you to read it, and tell me what you think. 🙏😊
following Mae as she moves through seasons of abuse, isolation, and longing while forming an inexplicable bond with a strange creature that mirrors her own fragile survival. madness to save something in a world would have it destroyed.
and I say that having finished Mars In Retrograde this year too, so...yeah. I don't know where you found woolly bear... but keep it a secret...keep it for yourself!
Hola , Excelentes Relatos.

This was strange but in a good way. It felt real and soft. I liked it.
Thanks Stephen ☺️

Love this! The skipping seasons, interspersed poems, the isolation, gormless-disconnected vanilla-folk, the monster-hope.
Hope he sees her, hope Aunt Mae's dead(unless you care).💙
