Thank you, Elliot. My brother is nonverbal autistic and understands pretty much everything you say to him but can't formulate speech. My mom was the sweetest person you'd ever meet, but I've seen people treat their loved ones like the mother treats Margo at the end of this story. Breaks my freaking heart.

I really appreciated the near prismatic way you gave ACCESS to Margo. A raw delicacy and touch that did not escape me. In fact, you provided a rich portal that I found fascinating as a process to inhabit, let alone the experience the destination itself. I think there are moment in Philip K Dick where the veil of so-called Reality is evaporating that I’m reminded of too.

Also, perhaps you would also appreciate Days Between Stations and Rubicon Beach by Steve Erickson. These novels were devistating, and devistatingly heartbreaking, highly magnetic and emotive to sublime when they came out. And quite frankly — still blow my mind. I highly recommend them to you.
